Booking & Planning

There is no online checkout. Send us your dates through the enquiry form or WhatsApp, and our team in Luxor replies within one working day with availability, rates and a tailored itinerary. A deposit secures your cabin; the balance is due before sailing.

Your cabin, all meals aboard (breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea), every guided shore excursion with a resident Egyptologist, entrance fees to the temples on your itinerary, and use of the spa facilities, pool and sun deck. Drinks packages, Abu Simbel, the hot-air balloon and gratuities are arranged separately.

The best cabins on the most popular dates sell months ahead, especially Christmas, New Year and Easter. For peak weeks we suggest enquiring three to six months in advance; shoulder seasons are easier to arrange closer in.

On Board

Twenty-eight cabins and suites across five decks — an intentionally small ship, never a floating hotel. This keeps the public spaces calm and the excursions ashore uncrowded.

Yes, throughout the ship, though the connection follows the river — it is excellent near the towns and quieter in the stretches between. We see that as part of the escape.

Of course. We accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and most allergies and preferences — simply tell us when you enquire so the kitchen can plan ahead.

Yes. Children are welcome, and we can arrange connecting cabins, tailored excursion timings and child-friendly meals. Tell us the ages of your party when you enquire.

The Voyage

October through April offers ideal conditions — warm days of 20–25°C and cool evenings. Summer (May–September) is hotter, though the ship is fully air-conditioned and excursions start early to beat the heat.

Between Luxor and Aswan — four nights one way, or seven nights return. The itinerary takes in Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae, with optional Abu Simbel.

Lightweight, breathable clothing for warm days, comfortable shoes for the temples, and a light layer for cool evenings on deck. A hat, sunglasses and high-factor sun protection are essential. Modest cover for shoulders and knees is appreciated at some sites.

Practical

Most nationalities need a tourist visa, available as an e-visa online before travel or on arrival at the airport. Requirements vary by country — we are happy to point you to the official guidance for your nationality when you book.

The ship carries first-aid provisions and 24-hour reception, and a doctor can be called for many departures. We recommend bringing any personal medication and consulting your own doctor before travelling. In an emergency we arrange transfer to the nearest hospital ashore.

We arrange airport transfers in Luxor or Aswan as part of your journey. Most guests fly into Luxor or Aswan from Cairo; we will advise the smoothest connection when planning your trip.
