Lumina was designed as a counterpoint to the gilded cliché of the river. No gold leaf, no spectacle — instead, hand-troweled plaster, fluted alabaster, woven linens and warm walnut, lit so that the Nile itself becomes the décor.
Ancient Egypt is present, but whispered: a fragment of a Theban fresco framed like a museum piece, columns that fan open like papyrus, the soft geometry of a temple distilled into a single room.
